Ever since I can remember, horses have held a special place in my heart. From my first ride with my grandmother at age 2 to now, horse riding has remained my most cherished passion.
I tried various horse riding disciplines, but one truly called me: Riding freely, in nature, and I soon quit the clubs’ sand to meet the fields’ grass.
I believe horse riding holidays offer the opportunity to travel in such a unique way, while (re)connecting with nature, and forging a deep bond with a trusted companion. Through Nomad Riders, I want to offer the possibility to anyone – from beginners to experienced riders – to live that unique experience.
Why Nomad Riders ?
Travelling in more than 20 countries on horseback (Argentina, Egypt, France, Italy, India, Mexico, Mongolia, Morocco, Portugal, South Africa, Spain, United States, etc.), I had the opportunity to discover numerous landscapes and learn from various cultures in some of the most remote locations in the world.
But something was missing from these riding journeys.
Although I enjoyed spending all day in the saddle, I wished I had learned more about the region’s culture and history.
As a History buff, avid foodie, and epicurean, I wanted to explore more of what the place had to offer in terms of historical sights and gastronomy, while (of course) treating myself. Despite the adrenaline and the good fatigue provided by riding all day long, I also wanted to rest and take care of myself during my vacations.
Because holidays are also meant to rest, right?
