On your departure day, our driver will collect you from the airport/your hotel in Paris and transport you to the heart of Loire Valley, where your accommodation awaits.
The journey to the Loire Valley typically takes 2h30, depending on your specific location and traffic conditions.
For our set departures, the Castles of the Loire Valley is tailored to accommodate intermediate to experienced riders; comfortable riding at all 3 paces and cantering in open nature.
You will spend between 3 to 6 hours in the saddle each day in a group of 4 riders, with Appaloosas, Irish Cobs and Arab-Barbs.
Non-riders are also welcome to join the journey : While equestrians explore the trails in the morning, we offer tailored alternative experiences including Cheese & Wine tasting, Hot air ballon ride, Canoë-Kayak, and more - ensuring every participant enjoys a memorable and personalized day out.
In addition to our set departures, we also offer private rides to the Loire Valley, allowing you to tailor your experience. You can customize various aspects of your journey, including the number of riding days, time spent in the saddle, accommodations, and visits to châteaux along with other activities.

Week-end Getaway Itinerary
FROM PARIS TO THE LOIRE VALLEY
☽ P.M – At 3p.m, our driver and guide will pick you up and the other guests to your location/a designated location in Paris and take you to the Château des Grotteaux/or similar, your accommodation for the next few nights, located in the heart of the Loire Valley - 2 hours drive, depending on your location and traffic.
Your accommodation awaits you in the 17th Century intimate Château des Grotteaux, located in a verdant setting, on the right bank of the Cosson River. Vicomte Gaël will welcome you and give you a tour/historic introduction of his sumptuous Château. We invite you to take a rest, before meeting your guide(and the horses in the gardens) in the evening, and having diner in a traditional restaurant in the charming village of Blois.
☽ Night at Château des Grotteaux or other Luxury Château-Hotel
RIDE TO CHÂTEAU DE CHAMBORD
☼ A.M – After enjoying breakfast from the delicious buffet of the Château des Grotteaux/or similar, meet your horses in the gardens and begin the ride through the forest massif of Boulogne, towards the Château de Chambord – 4 hours riding.
☽ P.M – You will arrive on horseback to the 16th Century Château de Chambord, just in time to savor lunch in the restaurant facing the Château. Then, a bilingual historian guide will be guiding you for 1h30 through the most spectacular Château de La Loire : Chambord. A Renaissance masterpiece, nestled in its 12 000 acres domaine. Transfer by car to your hotel for evening resting time, and diner in a traditional restaurant in the charming village of Blois.
☽ Night at Château des Grotteaux or other Luxury Château-Hotel
RIDE TO CHÂTEAU DE CHAUMONT-SUR-LOIRE OR CHENONCEAU
☼ A.M – After enjoying breakfast from the delicious buffet of Les Grotteaux, begin the ride and cross the Beuvron, to reach the riverbanks of the Loire, a UNESCO Heritage Site. Discover the majestic Château de Chaumont-sur-Loire or Chenonceau, nestled on its banks - 4h ride.
☽ P.M – You will arrive on horseback to the Château, just in time to savor lunch in the its gastronomic restaurant. In the afternoon, a bilingual historian guide will be guiding you for 1h30 through one of the most sumptuous French Castles - also known as the Queen’s Castle - A 16th Century marvel.
By 5p.m, our driver will take you back to your hotel/location in Paris -2.5 hours drive depending on traffic and your location in Paris.
