Nomad Riders took care of everything and we got an amazing adventure. Four days of riding horses in the Tuscan country side. The venue was amazing and every detail was covered.

Absolutely fantastic trip!! Steinunn, Loa, and Ari were wonderful. Rita was so helpful with logistics beforehand as well. They all care deeply about their horses. Fabulous scenery and I learned a lot of cultural and historical info from the guides! They went out of their way for little things like putting flowers out during evening coffee break and getting me a cake for my birthday! Loved that we were such a small group. Could not have been better, I would go on another trip with them in a heartbeat.

Simply AMAZING!!! I have horses at home so I never thought to see another country on horseback, until this trip. Now I want to see every country forever on horseback!! From the horses, to the people (seriously our outfit of humans were top-tier, wonderful), to the landscape, everything was beyond incredible. There is such a special culture that is preserved in this beautiful country and it’s worth exploring. If you’re even remotely considering this trip, DO IT! I’d like to think I’m well traveled but the experience has set a new standard, that fear won’t be matched anytime soon.

This is a review written with mixed emotions as some things are so beautiful you hate to share them for fear of losing them, but riding with the team (and family) at Calcione is an experience of Tuscany that you will truly appreciate. Beautiful horses, a great castle with rich history, and a wonderful family and staff make for a perfect Tuscan experience. Top notch rides and horses by day returning for an evening of Michelin quality dinners and great company make for a dream come true. My wife and I spent a long weekend with them and feel we’ve made friends for life. Thank you team Calcione - especially Zoe!!!

We had a fantastic time on our nomadic adventure. Riding through the Tuscany countryside and staying at the castles was spectacular. The staff were great, helpful and flexible to meet my needs. The horses were beautiful and so much fun to ride. I enjoyed getting to know the various riders and made same new friends from all over the world. I would recommend this adventure to other horse enthusiasts, but make sure you’re in shape, it’s three days of fast, fun riding. The trip of a life time !

I've spent two wonderful long weekends at Haras du Coussoul this year and can't wait to return. I was looking to improve my dressage skills somewhere accessible by train, and the option to try riding with a neckrope (which aligns with my "less is more" ideal for riding) drew me in. The Haras is stunning, set in the heart of Provence, and Alicia is a warm, passionate host whose love for her horses is contagious. The horses are beautifully cared for and a joy to ride. I especially appreciated the private lessons and how Alicia noticed my preferences the first time round and proposed an even more tailored programme the second time, centred around neckrope riding. Having done riding holidays for over a decade, I tend to revisit places with great teams, amazing horses, and unforgettable settings. Haras du Coussoul has all that, plus a special magic that's hard to describe. Meeting and cuddling the foals raised by Alicia was the cherry on the cake, and the Camargue beach ride was a fun complement to the dressage sessions. If you haven't experienced Camargue horses or the region yet, and love gallops on the beach, it's worth adding the option.

Our Nomad riding trip to the Loire Valley was truly a trip of a lifetime! Adventure, galloping through fields, walking in towns and streams and to top it off riding around castle walls and next to moats! So much fun. Our accommodations were top notch as were the meals and the tour guides! Cannot say enough, Loved it !

We had a wonderful experience from beginning to end! Our favorite, of course, was the riding in the forests, and we loved the tour in Fontainebleau castle. An absolutely incredible experience from start to finish! from the warm welcome from your hosts with evian and pastries, the incredible horse ride, an amazing 3 course meal with gorgeously paired wines and followed by a private tour of the chateau, the entire day was organised to perfection and one of the most special experiences! worth every penny and our guide Manon was truly so wonderful and took amazing care of us! book this, you will not regret it !!

My experience with Nomad Riders was definitely the highlight of my time in Paris. The ride, lunch, and tour were all fantastic. I was taken great care of throughout the whole process. Manon and Rita were so wonderful setting everything up for me, and I can't recommend them more.

What a wonderful experience. Every detail was paid attention to and planned out. The horses were happy, well taken care of, and perfectly paired to my family's varied experience level. This created a once-in-a-lifetime ride for all of us through the Versailles gardens, which was amazing! The lunch was delicious and unforgettable, and then the guided tour of the palace was perfect. Everyone we met from Manon and Cedric who picked us up in the morning and took us around, to our horse guide to our tour guide at the palace, were friendly, passionate about what they were doing, and tremendous people to spend time with. I could not recommend Nomad Riders any stronger, it was a perfect day for our family !

This was an awesome luxury experience from beginning to end! It starts with arriving via private car to Versailles where you mount your equine partner and ride through the chateau grounds. I could almost imagine riding here when the King lived here. Lunch was equally amazing from the time you stepped out of your car to the last bite of desert. Then a quick 2 minute drive to the Chateau for a private tour customized to your requests. Though I had been to the Chateau before this was by far the best tour.

My Dear friend and I booked our bucket list adventure with Rita from Nomad riders for early September for the Loire Valley Castles Tour. To say that Rita and the team fulfilled our dream adventure is an understatement. Dinners and lunches were an authentic experience in the culinary delights of French cuisine. Meeting our trusty steads, we were absolutely delighted with how well we were matched up, stunning well-trained horses suited for this wonderful adventure. We felt comfortable and safe and supported by our riding guide Raphael and the support of Jerry. Riding though the royal forests, vineyards, orchards and small villages you felt immersed in the countryside. Our visits to Chambord Castle and the Chateau De Beauregard were filled with wonderful stories by our amazing guide Veronique, who brought the history to life. Such a wonderful riding experience and exceptional way to experience the history and gastronomic delights of France. Cannot recommend this adventure highly enough. Rita and her team looked after us so well, we felt very special indeed.

Amazing family experience! I went with my daughter who loves horses and is learning to ride, we lived a wonderful adventure. The food was delicious very gourmet, the visit to Versalles very interesting and entertaining with our guide. Rita is wonderful and thought of all the details.

My family and I had the best time on our IMPERIAL HERITAGE RIDE. Rita was great, it was nice not having to worry about any details. Rita took care of everything. We had a great horseback ride, followed by a really nice lunch and a guided tour of the château, we will be doing more rides with her on future trips around the world!

It was an experience of a lifetime! The highlight of my recent trip to France. From the personal pickup/return to Paris, incredible chateau accommodation, beautifully trained and responsive horses, great meals, fabulous trails through chateau hunting grounds and their outlying fields, breathtaking views riding right up to the chateau!
