About this ride
The Château of Chantilly
Recognized as one of France’s finest cultural treasures, the Château de Chantilly is a magnificent Renaissance-style estate that offers an extraordinary glimpse into the opulent lifestyles of French nobility and royalty.
Originally a medieval fortress, the château underwent significant transformations over the centuries by its illustrious owners, including the powerful Montmorency and Condé families, who were closely tied to the French monarchy. It reached its pinnacle of grandeur in the 19th century under Henri d’Orléans, Duke of Aumale, son of the last King of France, Louis-Philippe.
From its 115 hectares gardens, the second-largest collection of antique paintings in France after the Louvre, and the famous Great Stables that still host equestrian shows, prepare to be captivated by the epitome of royal French elegance along with a passionate historian and local guide.
